"Every Shadow, No Matter How Deep, Is Threatened by Morning Light"
My exam is over :). Unfortunately I don?t know the result just yet so I am still quite nervous although in a completely new way...
I must go through like billion photos by now because you guys have been so busy! Look forward to your streams though :).
Weather in Czech has been pretty crazy lately - floods, unbearable heat (Damn you, Summer!) and heavy rains with storms. Yesterday a lightning hit a power pole and whole village was without electricity for almost a day. I never realized that it?s not just computer and dvd I need electricity for. Couldn?t do ironing, laundry, cook a meal (electric stove), nor vacuum clean trillion bugs that managed to appear during just those few hours...nothing. Quite creepy how much we rely on electricity, really.
And as to the photo, it?s taken in a hospital where my Grandpa is at the moment. He was getting a cardiostimulator but seems to be fine by now. He definitely looks really great and jokes around with nurses and stuff so back to his old self :).
I very much wanted to take some photos there but I?m not sure whether it?s appropriate and as I was banned from photographing at IKEA I can imagine at hospital the rules are even tougher. Pity though as those looong corridors and light at the end of them just beg for some ideas :). I managed to take just this, no tripod, had to boost the ISO into the grainy level and obviously it came out quite blurry as I didn?t dare to actually lie on the floor (and yet there were a few people passing through who looked at me as if I?d just commited a murder). BUT, the park in front of the hospital might be just as well the greeniest place within 20 km so I?m definitely gonna use THAT for some photography (perhaps portraits one day :).
